Introduction
Shaping the next generation of
ATV riders
Riders 12 years and older appreciate quality products designed
to fit their growing physiques. The wide stance, large tires,
friendly performance and big-ATV styling of the KFX®90 ATV
ensure that it appeals to this crowd. Full floorboards compliment
the KFX90's stable and confidence-inspiring handling traits,
making it a smart choice for parents who value quality and performance.
At the core of the KFX90 is a reliable and environmentally friendly
four-stroke, air-cooled 89cc engine providing healthy mid-range
performance with an easy-to-use power delivery. Its approved
spark arrestor means young riders can tag along on trail rides.
The rider can focus more attention on line selection and developing
his or her riding skills, thanks to the KFX90's continuously
variable automatic transmission (CVT) which eliminates the need
to concentrate on a clutch or shift lever.
Parents are also sure to appreciate the added security offered
by the KFX90's keyed ignition switch which prevents use without
the key. Once they hand over the key, parents can still exercise
control over the KFX90's available performance, via the throttle
limiting screw and a CVT transmission speed limiter. These allow
the ATV's maximum speed to be preset to match a rider's ability.
The KFX90 is also equipped with premium features like electric
starting, a single-shock rear suspension, independent A-arm front
suspension, and a single rear disc, supplemented by dual front
drum brakes.
Authentic Kawasaki Accessories are available.
As with all off-highway vehicle recreation, Kawasaki encourages
ATV riders to ride responsibly and to respect the environment.
Kawasaki will pay first-time buyers of a new Kawasaki ATV $100
for completing an ATV rider safety course conducted by the ATV
Safety Institute (ASI). Interested consumers can call ASI toll-free
at 800-887-2887.
